Whilst climbing the ranks to become Content Manager at a tech startup, I found my way into UX design and turned my hand from marketing copy to writing clear, succinct UI copy and help content. Nowadays, whilst I still get hands-on with microcopy, I tend to focus on overarching content design strategies and tools, helping to turn jargon-filled, wordy nightmares and complex user journeys into an experience that’s easy to use and understand.

UX design goes hand-in-hand with my background in psychology. I’m always trying to get inside the heads of users and find out what they’re thinking and feeling and how it influences their behaviours and decisions. As creepy as that sounds.

Outside of the office I’m mostly glued to my Xbox or I’m tending to my growing plant collection. I post beer reviews on Instagram and I always have a handicrafts project on the go. And I love starting sentences with conjunctions.
